Lamha - unforgettable moment

Life. A journey of events and occasions. Everyday moments, unique moments, once-in-a-lifetime moments. Significant to you and made special by their exclusiveness to you, and your loved ones.

It could be the day you started your first job. Perhaps the day you were first promoted. It could be to show your parents how much you care. It could be to say ‘I love you’ to the special person in your life. It could be a celebration of your first-born. And it could be for no reason at all.

Moments of love, moments of delight, moments of tenderness, moments of pride, moments of passion, moments of kindness. Each one of us has our share of such unforgettable moments. Moments captured forever in the minds and hearts of people who care and want to make every moment special.

Moments captured forever in Lamha, the eternal symbol of love, passion, care and every other human emotion.

After Krishna, who are the top 10 most intelligent characters in the Mahabharata?

There is a very thin line of difference between intelligence and idiocy Intelligence as a filter or parameter is very subjective and leaves a lot of scope for challenges and opinion. I have rated the following people based on knowledge and capacity to create an impact by their knowledge 1 - Shakuni The only mastermind, the grand master on the kurava side who was capable of strategising and drawing parallel plans to nullify the pandava moves and negate  enemies 2 - Draupadi This unforgettable heroine is way smarter than any of her husbands or others in the court of yudistra, SHe possessed great intelligence and was the force and ghostwriter behind all of his decissions, a lady with great spirit, valour and virtue. Her story is a saga of suffering and disgrace but she took everything in her stride and vanquished each one of the perpetrators of her humiliation and agony 3 - Sahadeva  Sahadeva is intelligent but not cunning, he also is said to have a gift of prediction and fore...

WiFi Basics Part 3: 802.11ac

WiFi Basics Part 3: 802.11ac Like 802.11n, the IEEE released a draft of the amendment before its final release. These early devices are known as “Wave 1”. Unless you 11ac router is less than a year old, it falls into this category. The final release was in January 2014 and the subsequent equipment known as “Wave 2”. The majority of this article will compare 11ac to 11n because it really is an enhancement of 11n. Let’s start with what 11ac doesn’t do: Does not work in the 2.4GHz band; 5GHz band only Does not provide more range/coverage The overall goal for 802.11ac is to provide significantly more bandwidth. It does this using several methods. More Channel Bonding . Remember 11n allows up to 4 channels to be bonded. 11ac allows up to 8 channels. If used to the fullest extent, throughput is doubled by this method alone. The one downside to this is channel planning. In the current allowable 5GHz band, only 2 channel groups can be used. This makes planning for multiple A...

The mystery of floating stones

It is mentioned in the epic Ramayana that Ram Setu was built by the son of Lord Vishwakarma when Lord Rama needed to cross the sea to reach Lanka. The bridge known as Adam's Bridge is said to be built of floating stones. The epic mentions that whenever the name of Lord Rama was written over any stone, it started to float in the sea water. Some such stones are said to be scattered at Rameswaram during the Tsunami and one of them was brought to Patna to prove the evidence of Rama and the bridge. The proof was given in the form of this video : http://videos.oneindia.in/watch/1897/floating-stone.html Even after watching this video many people won't believe it. And I can understand it. It defies logic and reason. But is it actually so? How can this mystery be explained? About 4 years back, I was in Rameswaram and in one of the several hundreds of temples, I saw not one, but 12 such stones! They were of various shapes and sizes. Here is a possible explanation : Before I st...
